Overview
In September 1995, Turbokraft was founded by Mr. David Chiunh Wai Lin, who was appointed as the then Dresser-Rand Manufacturer’s Sales Representative/Agent for the sales and services of their range of steam turbines and turbo-alternators in the range of 100 kW - 70 MW in Malaysia and Indonesia. Dresser-Rand was acquired by Siemens Energy in 2015 and Turbokraft continues its agency relationship with Siemens Energy until today.
In March 2007, Turbokraft was appointed as an authorized agent for Formosa Heavy Industries Taiwan, under licensed for RENK, Germany in Malaysia.
Turbokraft works hand-in-hand with other overseas manufacturers such as Dresser-Rand under Siemens Energy, Newage AVK Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, Stamford and AVK Alternator Manufacturer of United Kingdom and Germany, Leroy Somer, Marelli Motori Italy, Lufkin Industries USA, Formosa Heavy Industries Taiwan, Nuttall Gear USA, Triveni Engineering & Industries and others for their machines to meet the requirements of mid range power station for local and South East Asian region.
